@ Mr. Red, I too think Oldies messed up on that trivia answer as octopus was my first guess too. Also, I tried a few other DJ names on Y101 and Oldies without success but I did not try overly hard so maybe some variation will work (e.g. I didn't try leaving spaces in at first for Robin and Randall).

It appears they are just sitting in the system, waiting to be discovered. Eric told DeVil about his when he was at Lincoln Fields a month or so ago. I guess if you were to see any of the other DJs at an event and asked if they had a bonus code for you, they'd tell you theirs as well. That's how the 5k-point KISS codes were "discovered" (just by asking!).
