Well actually...."Dolphins can shut down one side of their brain while leaving the other side up and running. This allows them to maintain breathing functions (they are voluntary breathers unlike humans) as well as maintain their sensory capabilities like sight and echolocation. Some will float in a small area while others will go into a resting pattern (slow swimming pattern).
When one side of the brain is rested up, it will come back on and the other side will turn off. The dolphin will do this throughout the day and pick up 8 hours of sleep through collective napping times."

I'm ok thanks! :) Going out shopping tomorrow with my daughter for a graduation dress...YIKES!! Can't believe they have a graduation celebration for grade sixers. They didn't do that when I was that age. LOL Sounds like you'll be busy with your two little ones this weekend. I so have to get my cat fixed too but it's so damn expensive! I thought they used to have a free or at least a way cheaper spay and neuter thing in the summer. Got check that out and hopefully they do cause man it costs so much at the stupid vets. :(

If you live in the City of Ottawa they have a Spay/Neuter Clinic that's cheaper than going to a vet. They charged me $152.25 each for my 2 kittens (they're both females). They don't have to have their shots, they'll operate anyway. The vet charges $374.00 each plus $84.00 each for their shots. If you have a male cat it's even cheaper (females are more expensive to have fixed). Let me know if you're interested I can give you the address & phone no.
